I would also switch to synthetic oil, after decarbonization of the combustion chambers. This condition causes the stems on the exhaust valves to get gummed up, and the spings can't close them properly. There's a Tech note on this, it also recommends beating the snot out of it after the engine cleaning, this burns up any carbon residue.
