Remote central locking - problematic 850 1994

Thanks for the reply, have been away for a while so only just seen your message. Frankly, not sure whether OEM or not, however the base unit (as opposed to the sensor on the front left pillar) is down beneath the dashboard near the door on the driver's side. Garage tested but couldn't fathom what the problem is, so are ordering new unit under warranty (well, partially).
