NEED HELP WITH TOO MUCH OIL IN CAR!!!!!!! HELP!!!! 850 1993

OK!!! I screwed up. I changed my oil in my car and get distracted. My car was already about 1 to 2 qts low when I changed the filter.

Here's the kicker. I didn't pull the plug and added the 5 qts on top of probably 3 to 4 that was still in the car. I was already low and probably lost almost a quart when I changed the filter.

I didn't drive it till this morning and noticed the black smoke coming out when I gassed it. I probably drove a total of 10 miles by the time I got back to the house and drained it all. I replaced the oil the right way this time. No more black smoke BUT I am worried if I could have damaged it. I left the skid plate off and drove to work and it looks like it was still leaking a little. Could I have blown a seal or should I just keep an eye on it.

Thanks for the help,
Syd
