FUSIBLE LINK. where is it? 850

Sorry I do not know where the fuseable link is (can't find it in my Haynes manual either). But I have another idea of what is causing your problem, the fuesable link usually only opens up when there is a major event, i.e. you mess up the polarities jump starting the car, which it does not sound like you did. However, the ground strap connection sometimes gets corroded, which gives you a bad connection, so I would check for continuity between the negative terminal and the chassis (preferably an unpainted section) see if you have continuity, if don't have continuity, your problem is a bad ground. To fix that trace the negative lead to the chassis, and clean up the contact.

Good luck.
