Immobiliser/alarm 400 1995

Hi,
I had a problem yesterday where my remote unit would not open the car, therefore i could not turn on/off the immobiliser so i couldnt use the car.
Batteries in remote are fine as they were new 2 weeks ago. i changed some fuses around and put them back a few times and it now works. (fuses as they were initially). But, whilst i drive the alarm light blinks continously now and wont stop! Does anyone know what is going on? Dodgy electrics?
