Any suggestions on tires?
I am thinking of getting Continentals because they are great on the BMW..... Any ideas??? My brother put Yokahama's on his Maxima and they were a great improvement over the Michelens that he had on there...
I tried some aftermarket brake pads on my S70 (forget the name but can look it up if anyone would like) but the brake performance is just as good and I dont have to clean my wheels so often. A friend of mine is amazed at how clean my wheels have been. When I suggested putting on aftermarket pads several people thought it was a horrible idea (prolly Volvo dealers wanting the part biz). Does anyone know legitimate engineering issues that would make Volvo use brakes that dont last very long and make the wheels dirty? Other than its more effective for their bottom line Im still running the old rotors. They are "close" to needing replacement but not quite yet. Anybody have any ideas about the "rotor consumption" as well????
Thanks in advance
Robert Chase.
