a good metallic film will last a long time, they are scratch resistant but not scratch proof.
The last time i had a car done it was about 135.00 plus tax, and that was a 4 door 240 turbo. last year.

just call around some places use 3M film, some use other brands. ask about warranty info etc.

I have a 850 glt turbo with tint 30% all around it i like it very much.
