IPD/TME Sport Exhaust S70 2000

I received my IPD sport exhaust yesterday to go along with the ECU upgrade on my S70 GLT. I must say that the fit and finish of the exhaust is very impressive. Everything installed perfectly. The only trouble spot was removing the stock exhaust system without cutting it...it's a one piece system. The IPD/TME system comes in 4 pieces + exhaust tip and is much easier to work with. Quality of the new system is much better than stock and has nice polished metal on the mufflers as well as very high quality clamps.

At first I was worried that the exhaust tip would be too big and look stupid on the car. But now that it's installed it looks just fine.

The IPD exhaust is a little louder than stock. Nobody is going to look twice when you drive by. Sound at idle and hw cruise is similiar to stock, if not a little deeper. You can hear the engine while accelerating, but it's not intrusive. I'd say the exhaust noise is most noticeably at 40mph before you settle into o.d. - Just a bit of a deep rumble - enough to remind you of what you're driving. Unlike the stock system, it will not hide the fact that there is, in fact, and engine under that hood.

Can't really comment on the performance, I was away for the week driving a rental and then came home and immediately installed the system. Response does seem improved with quicker turbo spool up.
