Need a jack - please help with some info!

Hi, I lost my jack this past Saturaday by taking off in haste after installing a spare (Argh!). As it happens I have to take the car on a road trip this coming weekend and really don't want to do it without the jack. Buying one from the dealer is my last resort, in the meantime I would like to try eBay and junk yards. What I would like to find out from the collective wisdom of this forum is the information about the jack recall. I have heard or read that there has been a jack recall on jacks for 850 models. Does anyone know what the differences were between the "bad" one and the "good" one? Can I recognize these differences by looking or some nomenclature? If anyone with any info (or a spare jack for sale) about this issue could respond, I would appreciate it very much.
