Brake Shudder (again) C70 2000

I used my C70 Conv. for first time in 8 days. The last time I used it was last Sunday, during a big rain storm.

I'm now getting the tremendous brake shudder which seems the same as the shudder I got when car was under warranty and rear rotors were replaced on 2 separate occasions. I believe I kept the parking brake off after the rainstorm, so rotors should have oxidized evenly as the car dried in the garage. I've also tried to be mild on the brakes so I could evenly wear off any oxidation (rust) which occurred in 1 week.

The last time rotors were replaced, Volvo Service Mgr. seemed to say that the cause of the brake shudder happens when when brakes are hot and you drive through a puddle - and the change in temp. in all spots except the pad area causes warp.
>> Wheels haven't been off the car in > year, so we know it's not a uneven bolt torque problem.

I'm not sure if this will go away on its own - I don't have many miles on car since this occurred. I can't live w/ this shudder too long, though. I'm out of the 12 mo. warranty, and I don't think they replace rotors under the 3 yr. warranty. Any suggestions? I'll go aftermarket if I must..... I'm hoping for both short term and long term solutions.

Thanks all. - MARK R.
