annoying headlights, please help 850 1995

i know i'm not the only one with this problem since i've seen other 850s on the road with this issue. maybe someone can help. i have a 95 850 which has been in a minor accident or two. the body is in excellent condition, though. the one problem is that my headlights are uneven. one is very clear and seemingly normal, while the other one is very bright and blurry. when i look at the lenses, the blurry one appears to have dirtier glass... in fact, i'm thinking the body shop threw a used lense on there. does anybody know if i should be replacing my lense or maybe replacing the entire headlight package? is it possible that replacing both bulbs with two new consistent ones would solve the problem? i'm stumped, and before i start taking things apart i would like to know if anyone else has been through this. i didn't find any info searching the archives. thanks in advance...
