Howling sound from Aircon S70 1998

Mine does the same, but I only notice it during acceleration. Heres the thing though, I had AC problems last summer. They are going to try and recharge the system this year when i have problems again. My compressor also cycles ALOT when I have this no AC problem. I don't recall if any dye was added to the system for leaks or anything, I'll have to get the papers out and see exactly what they did. So far when I have used the AC this year it has worked perfectly, with the exception of the howling noise that you also notice. That is new this year on my car. I would have to say that if definetly has to do with the compressor, but I am sorry that I don't have any other info for you.
