Turbo too fast for some? Too much for a beginner driver? 850

Another unusal question.

Has anyone noticed that 850 T-5 has too much power for some?
Not to be a sexist, but I'm wondering if it'll be too much for
my wife. Also, I'd like to keep this car for a looooong time,
till my son is old enough to drive it (>10 years). Assuming
the turbo still works well, I wonder if it would be a bad 1st car
for a beginner driver.
