Black Paint Peeling - anyone else? S70 1999

Well, it was used, one of those executive cars from Volvo - 1999 bought in 2000 with only 8k on it. Great deal, or so I thought.

Volvo says I'm SOL, 1 year on warranty. Don't have a big problem with a warranty expiring, but I find this quite unusual - all my other 10 Volvo's of various years/models had flawless paint, was the best part about the cars all those years later.

So, looks like I eat this one, but just out of curiosity I'm going to run one of those VIN checks to see if it's ever been in a reported accident. But if this was repainted, even in this one spot, it looked great - you'd never know.

Love this car, just a shame this had to happen. Body shop time...
