s60 lpt throttle and boost 850 1997

I have a 850 GLT Low-Pressure Turbo. It is very close to (if not the same as) your engine. I also have noticed this only when punching the gas, as opposed to slowly accelerating. For instance, if I punch it 3/4 it will zoom the same as pedal to metal, but if I slowly increase foot pressure, it can definitely feel more and more acceleration between 3/4 and 4/4.
