s60 lpt throttle and boost S60 2001

The difference is the gradual pressure vs. the verticle to floored motion. The transmission has a "kickdown" option which normally kicks down a gear for passing. This usually does not happen if gradual pressure is applied. Try turning the wastegate too, the turbo will come in sooner.
