2 Odd Issues 850 1991

I have 2 issues that just came up yesterday with my non turbo 850.

1) If the engine is hot it seems to be difficult to start and maintain a proper idle. The engine rpm's keep dropping to 0 and stalling, when it does manage to stay running it idles extremly low and very rough. it did seem to clear up when I opened the throttle all the way.
2) I am unable to shift the auto transmission out of Park without using the Shift Lock Override. This just started the same time as the above issue.

I do not know if the 2 issues are somewhat related or completely separate but it is odd that they both started at the same time.
If anyone has any ideas on either of these 2 issues I would appreciate any feed back I can get.
