soft brakes and they keep getting softer 850 1996

I have to say I agree with the previous comments.

The first thing you should do is flush the old brake fluid and re-bleed the brakes. IPD's power brake bleed system and the ATE Blue brake fluid makes it easy.

If that doesn't cure the problem then look elsewhere, like at the brake pads and the installation. It could be that something like one of the pistons has siezed. Look to see that the pads are wearing evenly and that there are no large grooves in the rotors.

If the flush and bleed clears up the problem, and you still want firmer brakes, then go with the Stainless lines. Just be sure to buy some more brake fluid to bleed the brakes with after you finish the installation.
