Bubbly bumper S40-V40

I agree that you should complain if the paint is bubbled. You should not settle for a respray though. If you really have bubbles, you have an adhesion problem between two layers (substrate, primer, color, clearcoat). A respray may temporarily camoflage this, but will not fix it. You need a new bumper. This should be covered under warranty.

If the paint is only chipped, you're probably out of luck like the rest of us. This paint does chip terribly. In the begining they said it would get better after a few months, but I really don't see that being true. I should have chosen a color that doesn't show chips & dings so much!

Good luck & keep us posted! We may all have to take a good look at our bumpers for bubbles if you are sucessful!
