850 window switch assembly repair tip 850

My window switch assembly had rear switches which would not work unless stabbed viciously with a finger several times. The assembly costs a fortune to replace and is very hatrd to diassemble as there are many soldered joints to metal strips distributing power to the switches.

I placed the assembly in a plastic food bag, and part filled it with white spirit, left for ten minutes and then shaken vigorously for another 10 minutes.

Problem fixed.
