Removing Brake Rotors V70-XC70 1998

I'm about to install some Brembo cross drilled rotors on my V70 GLT. THe instructions on Bay 13 say that after removing the 10mm retaining bolt from the rotor, to use a hammer to remove the rotor from the hub. I'm assuming that it's referring to a sliding impact hammer and the spider attachment for the lug bolts?
