Truth or Dealer BS?!? V70-XC70

I had to fix some minor things in my Volvo...not even minor, just annoying. So I went to my dealer for parts. 1. The heated mirror switch does not illuminate when the lights are on, so I thought it was a bulb...dealer says I have to replace the whole switch. 2. The rear passenger side courtesy light does not come on when the doors are open (mind you all the other lights do), only when I flip the switch to on...dealer says that it is not the bulb, but a door jam pin that it is in the locking mechanism in the car...and...they can't find a part# for this. 3. The driver side sun visor does not light up...I thought it was a bulb issue...but I changed the bulbs and still nothing. I didn't seek dealer help for this because I thought, hey how hard can this be. But I now seek your assistance for my trials and tribulations for owning a volvo.
