step by step a/c recharge? 850

There is only one connection on the low pressure side of the system. It is on the passanger side near the front of the car. there is a AC pipe that runs front to back under hte hood. on the front there is a service port with a cap on it that says "6n" i think. it is the only one there!!! on the back of the same pipe near the firewall is the low pressure sensor/switch. with a wire harness plugged into it.

Start the car turn on AC to MAX (if the AC compressor is not on see below)
remove the cap "6n" and hook up a service hose for R134, put the hose on the can first but do not pierce the can top yet. after the can is on the hose and hose is on the car. pierce the can and let it fill up hte system.

use a pressure gauge so you deo not over charge it!!! very important.

it should take 1-2 cans of R134 and a 2oz oil charge. check the pressure and make sure it is OK. you are done.

you can get a kit from Wal mart with a guage, hose, freon and oil i think for about $25.00 it is all you need.

enjoy the cold AC

IF THE COMPRESSOR DOES NOT CYCLE ON:

Remove the4 wirring harness on hte low pressure sensor and jump the contacts in the harness plug with a piece of old speaker wire or something. This will turn on the compressor if the pressure is to low.

does your compressor cycle on now, but it is just not cold enough?
