Don't tell Dad!!! S60 2001

C'mon Lars,
Give the kid a break!! We've all had fun w/ cars and that's all he's doing. He's just exploring the boundaries of his car. If the car suffers in the future, well then that's for him to deal with. Either way he's learning. I say we cut the kid some slack and remember that Volvos are fun too, not just safe family-mobiles. This is coming from a guy who totalled his first car 4 days after he bought it. I learned my lesson! And in regards to the tranny of these Volvos, I think it's quite obvious the amount of people on this board who mod and drive their cars very hard for years without any problems with the tranny. Rarely have I ever seen threads regarding transmission failure. I believe it is one of the most solid aspects of the 850/S70/S60 turbo engine. Let the kid have his fun. I kinda like the fact that he's so proud of his Volvo.
Well, I think I've been rather blunt, no hard feelings eh?
