no tears here 850 1995

There's been some discussion about Volvo unreliability. I bought my 1995 850 turbo with 95,000 miles on it and have since put 10,000 wonderful miles on it. I've done tune-ups, speaker changes, bulb changes, trunk stuts, heated seat fixes, etc. thanks to the fine folks on this group. I've also got a great indie mechanic for when/if I face something I can't do myself (I did have him do the turbo oil return line gasket/O ring which I probably could have tackled. Charged me $60.)

I'll treat it to a Zaino Bros. finish this weekend.

So...I can't speak for the newer Volvos (or Fjords, as my friend calls them), but I love the look, feel and drive of mine.
