Any Major Problems with Wrong Ft/lb on Front Struts V70-XC70 1998

Sin,

I'm not too worried that I've tightened it below the ft/lb specified in the manual, 19 and 40 are not too tight as far as I know. I don't suppose there would be any negative side effects if it was too tight or over would there? If it is under the stated ft/lb, I guess you wouldn't feel the effect of the strut bar, that is, it wouldn't serve it's purpose to keep the struts from flexing during cornering.
