You like J.D. Powers Initial Quality Survey as opposed to long-term quality surveys

Lexus for the last few years has made great cars. It wasn't always so.

Sadly, Volvo for 2002 held 4 of the 10 slots ofr used cars to not buy. They held one slot with the 94 940 of used cars to buy. The 850 and s40 seem to fit in neither catagory, and probably that is accurate. I know people that have had traditionaly great Volvo service in their 850s, and others terrible service with theirs. I don't kow but two people with an s40, and I cannot give an accurate opinion on the car other than at the design and size, I might as well buy a Honday or Toyota for less money. It isn't the great traditional freight hauler that Volvo made for so many years
