no tears here 850 1995

Glad you have enjoyed your car. No matter what goes worng, if you are happy, then that is the most important thing. All cars are going to break at some point.

However, 10k in mileage isn't a whole lot to drive any car. See if you feel the same at 50k. I have never replaced seat heaters, trunk struts, or anything beyond a set of rotors and a kcikdown cable in 95k on my 93 245. Oviosuly I did routine care, such as belts and fluids, but that is it. It is the one new car I have purchased, and my other Volvos were used. So I didn't have dealer experience becuase I never had anything to fix under warranty. Now that's a good car. Doesn't matter who made it, it has been very good.

Many of the people here are long time, even life time Vovlo owners. They have experience to make their complaints. Others never owned a Volvo before FWD came to be. I think their comments are justified.

Take care
