Tranny fluid change? S70 1998

I'm in a similar situation. I recently picked up a 98 S70 GLT which now has 94K on it. Looking through the maintenance records I don't see anything indicating a tranny fluid change was ever done, and the maintenance manual doesn't mention the need to do it. I called my indy Volvo tech who changes the tranny fluid on my 940 every 20K, to make an appointment to have the S70 done, and he said it doesn't need to be changed on the S70's.

So, with 94K on my S70, will changing it now cause any problems? Any thoughts?
Also, if I change it I was considering having the Amisol synthetic put in, and thoughts on using that vs other fluids?

Thanks
