Gearbox removal 850 1996

From reading a lot of other posts:
You can spray the T/O bearing with WD40 and stop the noise. Get a LOT more miles down the road before you have to remove the box.
The clutch never wears out unless you take it to the strip a LOT.
The engine/subframe has to be supported and dropped down to get the box out.
Not a fun job.
A couple of Volvo techs have written on the proceedure. Hopefully it's in the archives
