Another FWIW - Finally had my 850's Windows Tinted 850

Very pleased with the results!

Went with a 38 percent film on the front widows and an 18 percent film on the back windows and rear glass. This is a good combination for visibility and is well within the law.

Went with a higher grade film with some kind of metal particles to reflect light/heat.

Visually, just looks like a dark tint and goes really well with the Volvo blue/green finish.

I watched the guys apply the tint - they did a great job. I can do a lot of mechanical work- but I'd never attempt applying tint to a car.

The primary reason I finally tinted my car is to protect the interior from the hot Texas sun. A secondary benefit is the ac won't have to work as hard.
