Strange Failure 850 1995

I have a 1995 850 with approx 120K miles. It has finally gotten pretty warm in the northeast and for the past couple of weeks when I go out to my car at the end of a day and start it up about 75% of the time the ABS light remains on and here's where it gets strange, additionally at this point, the headlights, tailights, turnsignals, horn, interior lights all cease functioning. But the car drives.

If I shut it off and start again it usually resolves. Just called for service at the dealer (ugh!) as the local mechanic will surely not be able to deal with it. Any ideas before I take it in and have my bank account cleared out?

Adam
