CLEARING CODES IN MY.... 850 1994

I'll try that myself. I've had the CE light on twice for the front 02 sensor and cleared it. So far it's been over 1,000 miles since the last light. While doing normal under the hood checks this weekend I checked for codes and the 02 sensor code was back. It hadn't caused the CE light to come on yet.

Thing is, it won't clear. Must the CE light be on to allow a code to be cleared?
