2000 V70 FWD Tires gone already - need replacement advice V70-XC70 2000

I'm new to this forum, but I've been reading many posts/replies and hope I can get some of that same good advice dished out here...

My wife's V70 has 41K miles on it. It came factory with michelin MXV4 88V rated tires, 195/60R15 sized. the traction has been excellent in the rain/snow, but the ride has been a bit harsh. I'd like to get a replacement tire that has a little more treadlife and comfort without giving up much on the traction side.

does anyone have any history good or bad they can share?

Thanks in advance
smittydad
