CD player location for wagon & exhaust question. 850 1996

So I finally found a T wagon and want to swap the cd player from the wifes sedan. The only wagon installation I remember was under the rear compartment lid. Are there any other options and I'm assuming (usually the wrong thing to do)that all the necessary connections are hidden nearby.
I'll also swap the IPD exhaust system from a NA to the turbo. Since a turbo is quieter than the NA, has anyone eliminated any of the silencers.
Any tips and suggestions would be gratefully accepted.
First I'll repair the drivers door window channel, with the help of Bay 13.

Is this board great?!
