Actually, the best product to get to protect your seals is 303 Aerospace Protectant, the main thing you want to protect your seals from is UV exposure, which can cause them to breakdown, 303 has the strongest UV protection. And even better yet, its a water-based protectant, not a petroleum-based protectant. Most of us know petroleum-based protectants, are actually bad for your rubber and vinyl, it traps the heat, causing cracking and for those of you who didn't know this, check on the bottle to make sure that the product does not contain petroleum-based products, some of the most popular named products are actually the worst to put on your car. Just something to think about.

303 is hard to find at regular autoparts stores, but there are sights like properautocare.com, where the provide you with detailed information on these things.
