wearing rear tires 850 1996

I have had my 850R wagon for 4 years, and 22,000 miles. The car has never been in any collisions. During this time I have put on four sets of rear tires (and two front sets). I have had "all wheel alignments" three times. All, it seems to no avail. Both rear tires wear heavily and equally on the interior aspect. They even appear to be cocked at about a 5 degree angle. The mechanic tells me that they can't get the car into alignment. Anyone out there had any similar problems? I live in Scottsdale, AZ and would really like to have my car fixed rather than trading it in. K Burstein
