Driver Side Window Track S70 1998

This happened on my '94 854. Window went up diagonally so I knew I had a problem. I followed Haynes instructions and removed the door panel, regulator, and glass. I found the track in the bottom of the door. You need to either get a new track or fix the old one. I chose the latter. I fixed the old one by just cutting a piece of pipe hanging iron (bendable strap-like material with holes in it- any hardware store or Home Depot sells it) and attaching where it should be. Wasn't hard at all. The door panel removal was easier than on other cars I've done and I don't have any special tools. Good luck.
