Please help a newbie! 850 or S-70?? 850

These are the same car. The 70's have a slightly updated design (rounder nose, a crease in the trunk) and some reconfigured/re-engineered components. The 70 suspension is a softer ride. The consensus on the board is the 97 850 is more reliable than the 98 70's, though I've experienced nothing unusual. There was a recall on 98 headlights and turn signals to fix premature lamp failure. I like the 850 instrumentation better. There will be some minor varation in available horsepower and similar specs due to components used in any given model year and the ECU program.
