Help, please! 850 vs. S-70?? S70

Costas,

You are wrong. Volvo sold to Ford in '99.

Ford has had no developmental input into the S/V/C 70, S/V 40, V70, S80, S60 and even 90 series. Ford's contribution has been with distribution and marketing so far.

However by now Ford's developmental input will be felt as new or freshened models are rolled toward production--for better or worse.

I believe that the S/V 70's are sleepers. They had a few minor issues, but the bad press has seriously depressed prices. They're the last of the boxes and I expect that over time their value will appreicate.

This will be especially true if Ford makes Volvo Cars a badge engineered product in their family.

Bryan
