New owner introduction S70 1998

Welcome Jason.

Did you purchase a GLT, T5, AWD (S70 AWD available in 98) or base model?
Just curious.

I think parts will be less then BMW. A pair of front rotors will cost
about $140 shipped to your address. Pads about $45. Try the vendors
that advertise here (see top of page). I use volvoparts.com.

Also, the cars are pretty easy to work on. Brake jobs are a snap
and rotuine maintenance and most repairs are not too difficult.
http://volvospeed.com/bay13.htm has a lot of good info on all of this.

I myself drive a 98 T5M and my wife jas an 855 GLT (855 is another way
of saying wagon for the older 850s).
