Barney in a bottle?? 850 1995

You can pull up specs on oils on line. Check out the oil manufacturer web sites and compare what data they provide. Go with standardized testing results (ASTM methods). Colored bar graphs that just say this oil is better mean nothing.

Depends on what viscosity grade you are looking at, but Amsoil and Mobile 1 are usually the best. Royal Purple may not be the ideal if you have a turbo engine. Flash point and fire point for Royal purple are lower than Amsoil and Mobile 1. This indicates greater volatility at high temp/high heat load from a turbo.

Go with full-synthetic. Blended oils are just diluted with petroleum base-stocks.
