Need some advice.. Holding in gear. 850 1995

Hi everyone....while on an incline, stopped, foot on brake and car in drive, attempting to pull out into traffic I noticed the car started to roll back when I took my foot off the brake and started to hit the gas. I just purchased this car 2 months ago..still am on the bumper to bumper warranty and wondering if this is something to be concerned about. This is an automatic, non turbo 1995 850 wagon. Thanks!
