Never too soon. 850

You can go with Synthetic immediately. Porsche, Benz, Viper's, Mustang Cobra's and others all come from the factory with synthetic oil. They never see Dino Oil except when the owner gets cheap and puts it in.

Since you have to do a couple extra oil changes at around 500 and 1000 miles, most people will just go with Dino oil on the first few changes for lower cost and then switch.

What ever you do, use a good oil filter like Volvo/Mann, Purolator's Pure One, or the Mobil 1 oil filter.
