a zzz... noise when lightly press the gas pedal S40-V40

Just noticed today that when I lightly press the gas pedal, it sounds
like the engine gave a light zzz.. noise. Not observed in the cold start,
neither after further press the gas pedal. It was preety hot in the Chicago
about 90F. I am using 87 grading gas and K&R filter. Does hot weather and
regular gas have something to do with it? Anyone has similar problems?
