Compressor runs but only cool for a moment 850 1995

I have an 850 R and have always had minor A/C problems. Usally I would just put a little R134a or get a evacuation and recovery at the Volvo dealer. Within the last two weeks my A/C compressor will run and cool the car for about 5 minutes. But out of no where the air turn from cold to warm. The compressor will still run, but it stays warm until I shutoff the ECC and wait about 3-5 minutes and turn it back on. I thought maybe I had to much R134 so I drained a little, but it still will run constantly (I usally put an extra .2 lbs into the system. Usally when I'm idle the compressor will turn off and on, off and on. It doesn't do that anymore. Anyone have any idea why this is. Even if I'm crusing at 65mph I will have the "warm air problem.) Anyone have any idea??? Could it be the compressor or a sensor?
