Remote Car Starter C70 1998

I am soon moving to Atlanta and understand the heat there is unbelievable and am thus interested in a remote car starter. Have any of you 70 series owners installed or have had installed a car starter, and what are the cons, ie will it void warranty, will it damage anything to do with the ignition, etc? Any input is appreciated.

Digressing a bitu my car came with the 16" wheels which I think belong on the convertible. Can anyone point me to a cheap (cheaper than dealer) place to get OEM 17" 5 spoke or OEM 18" propus wheels? Also, must the guages be reconfigured?

PS-I recently read the messages about the antenna switch which could control the antenna up and down, and I purchased and installed one with no problems. So, thanks for the tip.
