Amount of freon in system? Probably low now. 850 1995

Do not guess at how much freon's presently in your system or guess at any other parts, relays, sensors, etc, etc because whether you believe it or not, the odds are very good that your system is now simply low on freon due to a leak.
Before guessing further, have the system evacuated (which the machine then weighs the existing freon charge) and the tech will know at that moment just how much freon was in there, then (if low, likely) have it recharged with AC dye added. It will then probably work great until it once again loses its charge (can take weeks to years depending on how fast it's leaking) and when it's low again, have it dye checked with a blacklight to locate the leak source, most likely the evaporator.
