I've never heard of that occuring with any Volvo as it's "almost" (if not)impossible due to the fact that there are many built in safety devices to be sure that can't ever happen. Not trying to call you a lier here but if what you're saying is true, don't just post this here, have the car towed to a Volvo dealer where they can inspect the car for damage, codes, etc as it'd be a very big deal. Like airplanes, Volvos SRS system has a control unit that's like a "black box" and stores every bit of recorded SRS info that leads up to airbag deployment and that's done mainly for legal reasons. If you're making up any part of what you're telling us, Volvo will know this in short order so I'm hoping for your sake that you're not making up a false claim as you won't get away with it if so. Others have tryed and failed once the contents of that "black box" was opened up.
