850 High Idle in Park and Neutral 850

Hello all,

I have a 95 854T. I've read some of the other posts on this site concerning high idle...but I need advice on my current situation. I don't think it's a big deal, but I like to keep my car running as well as possible. My car has been idleing high in park and neutral when warm. If you're at a dead stop in drive, 3, or L it will idle at around 700-800 rpm...which I understand is normal. But often (not 100% of the time) when I stop and put the car in park, or neutral it will idle at 900-1000 rpm. I'm not sure why it's idleing so high in park. I had it at a mechanic about 4000 miles (and three or four months ago) and they told me that they ran a fuel system cleaner through ("treatment"), to clean out the throttle body, etc. I don't know if they acutally removed the throttle body, but I suspect not. I noticed in the other posts about generally high idles that hte throttle body was the cuplrit. If it's warrented I'll removed it and clean it myself. I've checked all my vaccum elbows and they seem to be in order. I live in Northern Virginia and it's becoming very humid lately, and temperatures will often go from about 60-70 F at night to 80-90 F during the day, with humidity increase during the day. I don't know if this would effect the computer's control of hte idle, but I thought I'd mention it just in case. Other minor factors include tramission flush about 15k ago, new plugs, wires/distributer cap 15k ago, fuel filter 3k ago. If anybody has any suggestions I would be greatful.

Thanks very much, Brandon
